Understanding player eligibility and team composition is the foundation of fair play in our league. Here’s what you need to know:

• Age Requirement: All players must be 21 years of age or older.
• Waiver: Every player, including guest players, must sign a waiver before participating.
• Guest Players: Teams are allowed to use guest players during regular season games, provided they are not rostered on another team. A maximum of 3 guest players are permitted during the playoffs. Guest players are to be utilized if you NEED them. 
• Roster Substitutions: In the event of a season-ending injury or similar circumstance, a team may add a substitute player as a permanent rostered member.
• Minimum/Maximum Players: Teams must field at least eight players but can have no more than ten players on defense. Everyone present on the roster must kick.
• Gender Rule: Each team must roster at least four female players, and a minimum of three female players must be actively playing in the game at all times. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a forfeit. The game can still be played, but the team not meeting the requirement will take the loss.
• Game Play: Games may be started as long as 8 members are at the field, there will be no waiting for members to arrive. If you have 8,  you are only to field 6 guys and 2 girls. 
  
  
• Team Agreement: If teams don't have the right women / men ratio, teams may come to a set agreement to play eachother. However the team with the right personnel is not required to agree if they do not want too. The game may still be played but the team without the right personnel will result as a forfeit if an agreement isn't made.

These rules govern the pitching, catching, and fielding aspects of the game:

• Pitch Speed: Pitches must be slow to medium speed and may only be spun lightly (umpire's discretion). No missiles!
• Pitcher's Position: The pitcher may step forward to pitch and does not have to get behind the bunt line
• First-to-Third Line: No player may advance in front of the first-to-third line ( except the pitcher) until the ball is kicked.
• Live Ball: The ball is considered LIVE until it is in the hands of the pitcher, who is located inside the pitching circle. Players must go to the nearest bag. If the pitcher makes a motion to make a play (even while inside the circle), runners may advance.
• Catcher's Position: The catcher must field directly behind the kicker and may not cross home plate before the ball is kicked.
• Fielders: May not volley the ball in the air to make a catch. Fielders may also not kick the ball back into play. Purposely dropped balls to make a double out will count as a single base.
